The latest trailer for “Pan”, a live action movie depiction of Neverland and Peter Pan’s origin is out now and it is a fantasy-sequence filled visual eye-candy treat for children and adults alike.
It seems that Hollywood’s obsession with Peter Pan and Neverland is not going away anytime soon. Tracing the untold story of how Peter Pan was orphaned and taken to Neverland along with the rest of the Lost Boys.
The film boasts a stellar cast with Hugh Jackman as the Black Beard, Garrett Hedlund as Hook and newcomer Levi Miller as Peter Pan.
Directorial venture of Joe Wright, who is acclaimed for Hollywood blockbusters which are a visual treat to watch like Atonement. The recreated Neverland is replete with pirates, flying ships, lagoons, tribes, large crocodiles and mermaids. The overall aura created is of a warm yet mystical island and bizarreness is captivating with floating balls of water filled with fish and a horde of colorful creatures flying lft, rght and center.
Pan is set for a worldwide release in 3D and 2D theaters and IMAX on October 9.
This Warner Bros venture has also casted modern-day hotties Amanda Seyfried as Mary, Cara Delevingne as a mermaid and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily.
