The first images of Terminator: Genisys are out!
American magazine, Entertainment Weekly, has released a special preview of the new film’s cast, which is scheduled to be released in July 2015.
The movie is set to be the first of three planned films that the production company, Paramount, hopes would revive the legendary status of the first three sci-fi movies of the Terminator franchise.
The movie, starring Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen from the GoT), Matt Smith (Doctor from Doctor Who), Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, and the great man himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is based in the year 2029 when the violent Future War is raging in full force and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes.
The role of the leader of the resistance, John Connor, is being played by Jason Clarke, while the role of his loyal, trusty soldier, Kyle Reese, is being played by Jai Courtney.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role from the earlier movies, whereas Emilia Clarke will play the role of Sarah Conner.
Let’s hope this movie would make us feel better than sitting down and watching the “Terminator: Genisys” and walking out of it satisfied and ready for more “Terminator”!
