Pakistan’s leading architects and interior designers Zayd Bilgrami, Akeel Bilgrami, Sarah Najmi-Bilgrami and Ahsan Najmi of the prestigious Najmi-Bilgrami Cooperative (Pvt) Limited [NBCL] have been honored by one of the world’s most significant authority on design and architecture, the magazine Architectural Digest, India at their second annual coveted list of the “50 Most Influential Names in Architecture & Design for 2015.” 

The honor was conferred upon the team in a special celebratory ceremony held on 24th March 2015 at the JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi.

The final 50 honoured were selected from over 200 firms. They are honored to have been included in the top architect names in the subcontinent.

Speaking about their success, Zayd, Sarah, Akeel and Ahsan said, “We are ecstatic to have been chosen by a publication that is considered to be the foremost authority on architecture and design. To be able to represent Pakistan on a global forum is truly a humbling experience. Hopefully this will open the door to international interest in the incredible amount of talent present in Pakistan.”

Najmi Bilgrami Collaborative (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated in 2006 through the collaboration and pooling of the expertise, experience and resources of two very old and established Architectural practices of Pakistan, viz., Misbah Najmi & Associates (MNA), formed in 1975 and Bilgrami & Faruque (B&F), formed in 1972.  The two firms have collectively designed over 3000 projects.

NBCL was conceived as a consulting firm specializing in Corporate, Institutional, Medical and Educational Sectors.
