1. Dark
This is the currently most popular show in Pakistan. Dark is a Netflix Original and has three seasons. Dark revolves around the theme of time traveling. This show is originally in German language but is on Netflix in the English language and with subtitles.
The TV show begins with the disappearance of two children. As the story progresses, the involvement of four families comes into the light.
2. Witcher
Witcher is another Netflix Original. At the end of 2019, it became the most popular show on the online streaming platform. Witcher is based on a best-selling book series. A Polish author named Andrzej Sapkowski wrote the series. The Witcher books have been translated into many languages. The book series consists of novels as well as short stories about the adventures of Geralt of Rivia.
Our very own Superman, Henry Cavill, plays the character of Geralt of Rivia. Henry, himself, is a massive fan of the books. He begged the makers of the show to let him audition. This Netflix series is said to be on par with the popular TV show by HBO called Game of Thrones.
However, the final physical appearances of characters make The Witcher better. Witcher characters Geralt and Yennefer have yellow and purple eye colors, respectively. In the Game of Thrones, Daenerys had purple eyes in the books, but that idea was abandoned for the show.
3. Stranger Things
Stranger things is a Netflix Original set up in the 80s. It presents a very nostalgic depiction. The clothes, the festivals, the people, the cold war references, and everything else accurately represent the decade. Everyone’s favorite Winona Ryder stars in the show, along with David Harbour.
The series also has a stellar talented young cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah, Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and others. The story begins with the disappearance of Will Byers and his friends and family’s search for him. This further unveils the mystery behind his departure and the secrets of Hawkins-a small American town.
4. Cursed
Cursed was released just this week. It stars 13 reasons why’s Katherine Langford, Daniel Sharman, and others. The TV show is based on a legend. In the Netflix Original series, Nimue is a teenage sorceress who joins forces with Kin Arthur to save her people.
Cursed is Netflix’s attempt to bring more Witcher type content to the audience.
