At the beginning of Khan’s tenure, talks with the Taliban was one of his main goals to achieve. His administration arranged negotiations with the United States and the Taliban. On March 2nd, an agreement was finally signed in Doha.

Pakistan Becomes interlocutor for Iran and Saudi Arabia to Resolve Conflict in Yemen
