Qurat-ul-Ain Nadeem, a Pakistani Ph.D student has received the honourable and prestigious Marconi Society Paul Baran Young Scholar Award for 5G technology.
The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUSAT) student was recognised for her contribution and services towards the sphere of transmission technology.
Nadeem has conducted several studies and intensive research in Full-Dimension (FD) massive multiple inputs multiple outputs (MIMO) and towards wireless communications.
The reputated Marconi Society, established back in 1974, honours individuals who play a significant role towards the contribution of promoting technological advancements in society.
Nadeem is pursuing her Ph.D in the Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering divisions at KAUSAT.
Her supervisor added that her work towards the cause has proved to be applicable and sustainable, which is a big breakthrough for technology all around the world.

On the other hand, the talented girl herself wishes to encourage other women through her efforts and accomplishments and hopes to be an inspiration to the aspiring young generation of girls in Pakistan who wish to conquer the world.

5G in Pakistan
Earlier, it was hinted by the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui that Pakistan will introduce 5G in Pakistan by 2019.
