Karachi falls prey to yet another bank robbery within a span of two days. Five robbers looted millions of rupees from a private bank in the Kharadar Cloth market. The gang of robbers fled with the money and weapons that belonged to the bank’s security guards.
It was reported that the burglars barged into the bank wearing helmets and masks so nobody would be able to identify them.
Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister, Sindh has asked for an immediate report from the additional IG Karachi. He has also asked about the group involved in both the robberies.
Shah has also asked the Police to speak up about the unfortunate developments and questioned the intelligence network in the city.
Previously on Tuesday a private bank situated on Sh-E-Quaideen, Karachi was robbed. The burglars shot dead the branch manager, Abdul Rahim Motiwala, 40 after he tried to stop the robbers as they left the bank.
They managed to loot nearly Rs 0.65 million rupees in cash and fled using a getaway car.
