Karachi to once again boil, as Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned the city of yet another heatwave, this time the temperature will likely to reach 43 degrees today!
PMD has advised the citizens of the City of Lights to avoid going out of their homes or offices unnecessarily as the scorching sun will get worse as the day continues. Just in case if there is an emergency, leave with your heads covered and carry a bottle of water.
The hot spell which is expected to be 40 degrees Celsius and possibly above will continue from Friday onwards. Earlier, the department had issued a warning claiming that the dry and hot weather will be observed throughout May and June.
This has impacted various cities of Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab as well. On the other hand, Pakistan is one of the countries, which have suffered most the changing weather patterns and the climate change in the world.
