With sports being a part of our DNA, we Pakistanis love to see our men and women in action! While we have many athletes who have made us proud in many ways, another name added to the list is Rizwan Hussain!
Hussain not only became the first ever athlete to represent Pakistan at Ultraman Australia, he also became the first ever Pakistani to complete the challenge!
What is really interesting about this format is that just 800 individuals have been successful in completing it.
This is because the competition requires the athletes to swim 10km, cycle 421.1km and run 84.3km consecutively over a course of 3 days.
He has participated in Ironman South Africa in April 2017 and in Ironman Switzerland, he was also a part of Ironman Carinas in 2016.
Rizwan is a part of Ultraman Australia in the memory of his son with massive support from his beloved wife and daughter.

A total of 48 athletes from 11 countries, 15 women and 33 men, participated in the competition to claim the title!
Rizwan secured the 42nd position in the league!
UM Australia starts and finishes at iconic Noosa Heads beach, in front of the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Noosa Heads has been named as one of Australia’s top ten beaches.
The three-day event – the distances – will test your physical and mental endurance. And afterwards, you will join the UM Australia family, a family like no other.
Congratulations to Rizwan Hussain and his family!
