Avon is tapping into its base of entrepreneurial beauty fans with the launch of its debut podcast.
The social-selling cosmetics giant has launched a podcast series that explores the personal stories and triumphs of its own “Avon Representatives” and explores industry tips and success stories with leading CEOs and business figures and influencers.
Titled “Make It Happen: Powered by Avon,” the series will air weekly on Mondays and can be listened to via Avon.com/Podcast, iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher. The 30-minute episodes are hosted by the brand’s Executive Director of Sales Development Evy deAngelis, and initial podcasts have covered topics such as how to embrace a “boss-life” mindset, and how to use social media to generate business leads.
“Avon was the first social selling company to help entrepreneurs to ‘make it happen’, and we wanted to give our Representatives and other trailblazers a platform to spotlight their own journeys,” said deAngelis in a statement. “Every episode will inspire our listeners to break down barriers and take bold steps forward in their own lives.”
Since being founded in 1886, Avon has become the largest social selling beauty company in North America, and today counts a network of representatives working all over the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
