A fake news has taken social media by storm that as many as five Pakistani ministers, including Asad Umar, are being reshuffled in the cabinet.
However, according to Geo News, government sources have slammed all such reports stating “there is no truth in them”.
PM spokesman Nadeem Afzal Chan has now clarified that all rumors of Asad Umar‘s reshuffling are baseless.
The false report stated that Finance Minister Asad Umar, Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and State Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi are being removed from their ministries.
It added that Asad Umar will take over the portfolio of petroleum minister.

Earlier, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary also dismissed the reports of any cabinet reshuffle.
