Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson popularly known as ‘The Rock’, thanked a Pakistani fan on Twitter for praising his recent movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

The Pakistani fan had tweeted:

“No one but Dwayne Johnson Can. @TheRock. A must Watch Film…”

The Rock replied:

“Wow – this is huge / thank you Pakistan for the love and enjoy @HobbsAndShaw.”

Following the recognition and response from the actor, Pakistanis were unable to handle their excitement. Some even invited him to visit the country.

Pakistani actor, Ali Rehman Khan was also quick to tweet his thoughts regarding the movie:

“Watched @HobbsAndShaw and I’m still recovering from the adrenaline boost. What a film! You killed it @TheRock. The film doesn’t let you lay back for a second! My kind of cinema! #Pakistan loves it for a reason   #HobbsAndShaw”

Universal’s “Fast & Furious” spinoff “Hobbs & Shaw” stars Hobbs (Johnson), a US Diplomatic Security Service agent, and ex-British military operative Shaw (Jason Statham) being made to partner up to fight Brixton, an anarchist played by Idris Elba.

The film also features Vanessa Kirby, Helen Mirren, and Eiza González, among others.

Speaking of the future of the franchise, The Rock says he has big plans. In a recent interview with MTV, he explained:

“The dream is that we create a team around Hobbs that the world will love. Create a team around Hobbs that is montley crew of unique characters, but all the best in class at what they do. All of them self deprecating in their humor.

The whole crew, that’s what I would like. Then when they’re best in their class, they’re lethal and they can kill and kick ass. But, then they just have the greatest time. That’s the goal.”

The Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ star was listed the highest-paid actor for 2019 by Forbes, raking in $124 million.
