The outfitters’ latest collection is called “Orbit”. How are you feeling so far— hooked, not hooked? Whether you’re intrigued already or not, the picture for the campaign will definitely evoke a reaction out of you. The extraterrestrial effect of the campaign is employed by adding spaceships to the background. The backdrop has been edited to show as if the model is on another planet altogether.

When you do something so crazy with clothes campaigns it’s always important to think about whether it can backfire. Had they just said “orbit” and made a picture in which some extraterrestrial elements were included it would be fine. However, this above and beyond editing is actually taking the attention away from the clothes.
When campaigns are this ‘out-of-the-world’ literally, people don’t talk about the clothes. That is precisely what seems to be happening here with Outfitters.

This one person, in particular, broke down the picture into smaller parts and critiqued it. While we’re not aware of whether he’s a professional or not, his critique really hits.
