Fashion powerhouses Gucci and Adidas have collaborated for yet another fashion release. The brands are top-tiered names in sports and fashion, respectively, so it’s no surprise that they have joined hands to release a power collection.
The collaboration released plenty of products, including custom colour Adidas Gazelles, tracksuits, bags, hats and jewellery, with some items looking bright, but theyโll set you back a fair bit! So itโs safe to say for those who have the money, the collaboration has been a major success, with plenty of products weโd want to cop.
The Infamous Gucci x Adidas Loafers
While the collection is receiving great reviews, one item from the range that has got people talking is the loafer they have released. The leather shoe has the trademark Gucci band with the typical Adidas three stripes.
Unfortunately, they resemble your iconic Copa Mundial boots, with no laces and a heel instead of studs. To complete the look, the Adidas Originals logo in gold on the heel makes them stand out as an Adidas x Gucci product.
While the attire these shoes would go for is quite vague at this point, the shoes seem like a good option for those who want to experiment with their look.

You can get the loafers at a hefty price of ยฃ785. Available in either black leather or grey suede.
The product description details the loafer while selling it to potential customers by saying,
โPart of the Adidas x Gucci collection, this loafer features a Gucci Trefoil metal insert. Adidas and Gucci venture into a collection where the Web juxtaposes the three white stripes, and the GG monogram combines with the trefoil.
Pulling inspiration from the Creative Directorโs memories of the โ80s and โ90s, emblematic Houseโs motifs mix with those of the historic sportswear brand Adidas resulting in a series of hybrid looks.”
Twitter Reacts To The Collabย
The launch of these loafers left Twitter confused, and it was no surprise that the public labelled the design as one of the worst.
Take a look at some of the reactions below.

While some deemed them as the worst shoe design ever, others were quick to pull out other styles from the collaboration and safe to say there is no winner so far.
