WhatsApp is now going to be launching an exciting new feature called ‘screen sharing’ for its beta users on Android. This update aims to enhance the users’ experience and provide a more effective means of communication. With this feature, as we said, users can now share their screens in real-time, allowing others to view documents, photos, or any content on their device directly from their screen.

How To Screen Share?ย

To initiate screen sharing, beta users simply need to tap on the attachment icon in a chat and select the “Screen Share” option. Once activated, the recipient will be able to see the sender’s screen. However, it’s important to note that this feature is currently exclusive to WhatsApp beta users on Android.

In related news, WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has also introduced an edit message feature. Users can now edit messages they have already sent by long-pressing the desired message and selecting the “Edit” option from the menu. However, text editing is only available within the first 15 minutes after sending the message. When a sent message is edited, it will be labeled as “Edited” when viewed by others, ensuring transparency and avoiding any secretive actions. However, the edit history itself will not be visible.
