david-warner-appeals-for-his-stolen-baggy-green

Australian opening batter David Warner has made an appeal on social media for the return of his backpack containing his baggy green cap, which went missing during his transit from Melbourne to Sydney ahead of his farewell Test.

This incident has cast a shadow over the preparations of David Warner’s farewell Test match at his home ground Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) against Pakistan.

The ‘baggy green’ cap, which is a symbol of honor and pride, went missing from Warner’s backpack during the journey from Melbourne to Sydney, leaving the cricketer visibly upset.

In a heartfelt plea shared on social media, David Warner earnestly implored for the safe return of his backpack containing his iconic baggy green cap, which inadvertently vanished from his luggage. The bag contained two caps, including the one that Warner has worn for the majority of his 111 Tests.
