The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Monday announced that the crescent for Ramadan 2024 was sighted in Pakistan; and first Ramadan will be observed on Tuesday 12th March 2024.
Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad made the official announcement following a meeting of clerics from all schools of thought to ascertain the beginning of the ninth Islamic month.
