The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has just announced the completed schedule for the much-anticipated three-match Test series against England. The series will be part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. The three-match series will be played from October 7-28.

What About the Other Matches?

The first Test will still kick off in Multan from October 7 to 11, and after the relocated second Test, the teams will head to Rawalpindi for the grand finale from October 24 to 28.

Both teams are set to arrive in Multan on October 2, giving them plenty of time to settle in and prepare. England’s squad will be eager to adapt to the local conditions, while Pakistan will be looking to make the most of their home advantage.

What to Expect?

While England have announced their squad, Pakistan’s preparations are far from ideal. There are few changes expected in the team, which lost to Bangladesh last month. There are few speculations about the change in captaincy, which will be decided in the PCB’s Connection Camp later this month.

However, one thing is guaranteed, this series will be interesting, considering the intense matches between the two countries in the past. This will be England’s second tour of Pakistan in two years. They won the last Test series 3-0 in December 2022.
