She also mentioned the scene in which Alia Bhatt’s character is written in a passionate letter by Jaya Bachchan’s character, saying that the lines were nearly exact. Odho underlined that this is a serious weakness in the drama’s resolution, weakening the novelty that viewers have come to expect from the Pakistani narrative.
