During the show, Sahir said that he lived in Japan for 12 years in long distance with his parents. He reiterated just how he does not expect anyone to go back home, or to feel compelled to leave Pakistan.

Reviewing the experience, he stated, “When I was 15 years old, I shifted to another country, leaving my family behind in Pakistan.” This was a very big change in his life that led to a shifting of culture and the lifestyle he encountered, more specifically with much determination.

To communicate effectively, Sahir mentioned how he kept a dictionary close by. “I was fully Urdu-bred, so I had to work hard to speak with people,” he explained. His journey was not only about survival but also about learning and growing in a foreign land.
It was not the physical journey of a man in an alien country just striving to survive but also gaining an education. According to him, the emotional aspect considered by families seems to be the most significant cost they bear.
When Sahir said with such impassion
“My brother has been alone for the last 12 years during all these occasions.” He even showed concern towards mothers who sit and wait for their sons to come home from other countries. “I don’t want any mother to cry over her son being in long distance,” he said moving emotionally.
