SAZGAR Engineering Works has officially produced 10,000 locally assembled hybrid vehicles, marking a significant milestone in its history. The milestone vehicle, the Haval Decemilia, signifies the company’s continued growth and leadership within Pakistan’s increasingly competitive automotive industry.
This achievement is the result of SAZGAR’s ongoing partnership with Great Wall Motors (GWM). Together, the two companies have introduced Pakistan’s most comprehensive lineup of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). SAZGAR’s portfolio includes popular models such as the Haval Jolion, the ORA O3 electric vehicle, and the high-performance ORA O7 sports EV. The company’s Haval H6 HEV has dominated the hybrid vehicle market throughout 2023-24, further establishing SAZGAR as a trailblazer in the industry.
SAZGAR’s ability to produce 10,000 hybrid vehicles comes amid a challenging economic backdrop. The company’s resilience and commitment to innovation have allowed it to navigate these challenges and continue leading the shift toward electric and hybrid vehicles in Pakistan.
To celebrate the milestone, SAZGAR hosted an event at its assembly plant, which was attended by key figures in the automotive industry, government officials, and dealership partners. Chief Guest Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain lauded SAZGAR’s accomplishments, emphasizing the government’s ongoing support for the automotive sector’s transition to sustainable technology.
With the anticipated release of the Tank 500 hybrid, SAZGAR and GWM are poised to further expand their leadership in the NEV market.
