A Sudden Marriage that Left Everyone Wondering
During the honest conversation, Amna Isani inquired Hamza: “You were, after all, one of the most eligible bachelors of the industry; good-looking, eloquent and handsome—and in the eyes of many admired. Your sudden marriage took everyone by surprise. How did that happen?”
Hamza reacted to the public perception by acknowledging that indeed his marriage looked abrupt. Still, he said to himself it was part of a long journey of self-reflection and further discovery in terms of spirituality. He said, “I was 80% Muslim in 2017 but I felt like I was not perfect in a few parameters. But by the end of 2018, I came to realise that I had to accept my faith thoroughly, and to do that, meant getting rid of anything unhelpful in life for after death.”
Letting Go and Finding Purpose
This big change in life altered every little detail in his life, even past relationships. “I was a huge failure in love. I had the worst experiences and many regrets as I was not as mature as I thought I was. A lot of broken hearts, mostly my fault and I am still ashamed of that. I tried my best to apologise to those I hurt.”
He confessed that though he was upfront and a straightforward person, he hurt people many times without intending it. But on his journey to the spiritual path, he prayed intently for a change in his destiny. “I prayed to Allah,” he said, “I have never loved anyone properly. Please give me love and marriage with a good person, I leave everything in Your hands.”
Meeting Naimal and the Start of a New Chapter
Hamza found Naimal Khawar as an answer to his prayers and in the most unexpected way. Speaking about the moment, he elucidates, “It seemed as if my fate led me straight to Naimal. I fell deeply in love with her, and it was beyond my control, this happened without a plan.”
A Successful Partnership Built on Love and Respect
“I was content with the fact that I was marrying Naimal. It’s six years since we started living together, and life has only gotten better. I knew I ended up with the right person,” briefed Hamza, his gratitude and love shining in his eyes. He feels his relationship has been a source of strength and joy for him, and now it proves his choice to be guided by faith and love.
