Cold Wave Sweeps Across Pakistan From Karachi to Khyber

A severe cold wave has gripped the entire country, with temperatures plunging to -9ยฐC in Skardu and -6ยฐC in Quetta and Kalat. Cities like Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi are also feeling the chill, recording 1ยฐC, 6ยฐC and 10ยฐC respectively. The Met Office attributes this cold spell to a westerly wave, predicting further temperature drops of 4โ€“7ยฐC below normal across Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
