The Boeing 777, grounded for over a year, will resume operations on January 10, with its first flight scheduled to Paris. PIA has confirmed that the required engines for the aircraft will arrive in Pakistan within the next two days. The wide-body aircraft, with a seating capacity of 440, is crucial for PIAโ€™s European flight operations and the upcoming Hajj season.

The Airbus A320, another addition, will strengthen domestic and international operations. This move is expected to boost PIA’s revenue by increasing flight frequency to meet growing passenger demand.

By enhancing its fleet and focusing on high-capacity routes, PIA aims to better serve passengers travelling to Europe and those participating in the Hajj pilgrimage. The reactivation of these aircraft marks a significant step toward revitalizing the airline’s services.
