NADRA Launches Mobile App for All Services

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a major step forward in identity services with the launch of the NADRA mobile app. The app replaces the Pak-ID website, making all NADRA services accessible through a single platform. The initiative addresses the challenges faced by citizens, particularly overseas Pakistanis, who struggle with uploading fingerprints and documents online.

To ensure convenience, the app now offers services such as ID card applications, POC, B-forms and FRCs. Users can complete these processes from their homes, saving time and effort. This step eliminates the need for intermediaries, minimising the risk of fraud. Previously, counterfeit websites had been used to assist in creating fake identity documents. Strict actions are being taken against such practices in collaboration with other institutions.

The minister also announced the establishment of three new regional NADRA offices in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gwadar and Gilgit-Baltistan. These offices will enhance service delivery in remote areas and will become operational by March 31. Additionally, NADRA aims to open offices in all tehsils nationwide by the same date, with only 19 tehsils remaining.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to improving accessibility and transparency. The revamped app ensures easier access to essential identity services for all citizens, reflecting a modernised approach to service delivery.
