Pakistan Chooses to Bat First in Test Opener Against West Indies

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first as they face West Indies in the two-match Test series commencing today at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The toss, scheduled to take place at 9 am, was delayed for hours because of dense fog in the city. It was finally staged at 1 pm.

Kraigg Brathwaite says they want to be brave with the bat and be disciplined with the ball and they are ready for the series.

”We’ll bat first keeping the conditions in mind. We need to dominate at home and become a difficult side to beat at home,” Shan Masood.
