The Zaheer Abbas Enclosure? That’s going to be renamed after Nazar Mohammad. But that’s not all. Two brand-new Patron Enclosures are also being christened, with Zaheer Abbas and Majid Khan getting their well-deserved recognition.

A Modern Makeover
Renovation work at the stadium is in its final stages, and it’s impressive, to say the least. The centerpiece of the transformation is a five-story building loaded with modern facilities.
- Ground Floor: ICC Anti-Corruption and Anti-Doping units, along with physio and match officials’ rooms, are ready to go.
- Second Floor: Spacious dressing rooms for the players are almost complete.
- Third & Fourth Floors: 24 luxury hospitality boxes, with room for 1,000 spectators, are shaping up to deliver a VIP experience.
- Fifth Floor: The Chairman’s Box and Admin Block are in their finishing stages.
Technology is taking center stage in the upgrades. Two massive digital scoreboards, including one that’s a whopping 80×30 feet, are being installed. Plus, the new LED floodlights on six towering poles promise a viewing experience on par with world-class stadiums in Australia and South Africa.
