Karachi Winter Ends, No New Cold Wave Ahead_ Met Office

Karachi’s winter seems to be winding down as Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz confirmed no new cold waves are expected in the port city. The coming days will bring cold nights and warm days. The temperatures are likely to range between 12°C at night and 29°C during the day, according to sources.

Monday saw slightly warmer conditions, with the city recording a minimum temperature of 11.5°C and a maximum of 31°C. For today, the mercury is likely to reach 27°C, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 12°C.

Rainfall remains unlikely as the weather in Karachi and most parts of Sindh is expected to stay cold and dry. Mohenjo Daro recorded the lowest temperature at 3°C, followed by Mithi at 5°C and Dadu and Sukkur at 6°C. Nawabshah recorded a minimum temperature of 7°C.

As Karachi transitions to warmer weather, the Met Department advises residents to prepare for the changing climate while enjoying the mild conditions.
