Karachi Winter Ends, No New Cold Wave Ahead_ Met Office

Karachi’s winter seems to be winding down as Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz confirmed no new cold waves are expected in the port city. The coming days will bring cold nights and warm days. The temperatures are likely to range between 12ยฐC at night and 29ยฐC during the day, according to sources.

Monday saw slightly warmer conditions, with the city recording a minimum temperature of 11.5ยฐC and a maximum of 31ยฐC. For today, the mercury is likely to reach 27ยฐC, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 12ยฐC.

Rainfall remains unlikely as the weather in Karachi and most parts of Sindh is expected to stay cold and dry. Mohenjo Daro recorded the lowest temperature at 3ยฐC, followed by Mithi at 5ยฐC and Dadu and Sukkur at 6ยฐC. Nawabshah recorded a minimum temperature of 7ยฐC.

As Karachi transitions to warmer weather, the Met Department advises residents to prepare for the changing climate while enjoying the mild conditions.
