The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has announced that the Shaban moon has been sighted in Pakistan, marking the beginning of the Islamic month on Friday.
The Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, made this announcement after the meeting in Islamabad, which was attended by central and zonal members andย technical experts.

After receiving updates from various regions of the country, Chairman Azad announced that the first day of Shaban 1446 AH will be Friday, January 31. Consequently, Shab-e-Barat will be observed on Thursday, February 13. During the session, special prayers were offered for the well-being of Muslims worldwide.
