Maryam Ishtiaq Joins Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef Season 4

Get ready, food lovers! Pakistani chef and content creator Maryam Ishtiaq is set to compete in Next Level Chef Season 4, the high-stakes cooking competition judged by none other than Gordon Ramsay. This opportunity marks a huge milestone in her culinary journey, bringing her talent and passion to a global audience.

The Dallas-based chef first shared the exciting news on Instagram, expressing her deep gratitude for the opportunity. “I have consistently followed a unique career journey and I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to turn my dreams into reality while pursuing my passions,” she wrote. Representing her community on such a prestigious platform is a moment she truly cherishes.

In an interview, Ishtiaq reflected on the overwhelming experience, admitting she was still in disbelief. “People dream of doing the things I have been able to do, and I’m truly so grateful that I get to pursue my passion. What’s even more incredible is the tremendous support I’ve received from my community—I never anticipated this level of encouragement!”

Maryam on the Road to Next-Level Chef

Ishtiaq revealed that getting selected for Next Level Chef was no easy feat. Due to FOX’s regulations, she couldn’t disclose too many details, but she described the process as long and intense.

“I applied for the show years ago and had completely forgotten about it. Then one day, I got a call saying they were interested in speaking with me, and I nearly lost it!” she recalled. The journey involved multiple interview rounds, auditions and extensive background checks, making her selection even more special.

Despite the challenges, Ishtiaq remained confident. “I’ve carved my way here and I’m incredibly proud of it. My private chef journey has been so fulfilling—I cherish every client of mine and running my own business has been the cherry on top.”

And what was it like cooking in front of Gordon Ramsay? While keeping show details under wraps, she hinted at a surprisingly warm experience. “Without giving too much away, Chef Ramsay is absolutely the sweetest. He genuinely wants every chef to succeed! All three judges live up to their reputations and it was an honour to learn from them.”

Ishtiaq is more than just a chef. Beyond her work as a private chef and content creator, she is the founder of It’s Actually, a brand producing halal, handcrafted bone broth. She was also featured in Forbes last year, where she shared her ambition of opening a café that blends halal cuisine with diverse dietary needs.

With her talent, determination and passion, Maryam Ishtiaq is a name to watch. Whether she wins the competition or not, she has already made an impact, inspiring others to chase their dreams and take Pakistani cuisine to the next level.
