Pakistan Navy has officially commenced the ninth edition of the multinational military movement โAMAN 2025,โ in Karachi with participation from over 60 countries.
The goal of the event is to enhance maritime security and encourage worldwide collaboration in addressing regional and global maritime challenges.
The event was attended by the Commander of the Pakistan Fleet, Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, who spoke to attendees, highlighting the significance of joint operations and naval stability. This yearโs exercise marks a significant milestone, as it introduces the โPeace Dialogueโ initiative, offering a platform for naval and coast guard leaders from different nations to discuss crucial maritime concerns.

Apart from naval warships, aircraft, special operations forces and bomb disposal units from participating nations, observers are also a part of the event.
Exercises Scheduled from February 7 to11ย
The Harbour Phase, the first phase will run until February 9, including seminars, discussions, operational demonstrations, international cultural events and sporting activities.
In the second phase, the sea phase scheduled for February 10 and 11, the focus will be on practical exercises such as anti-piracy and anti-terrorism drills, search and rescue operations, live firing exercises and an international fleet review.
