Air pollution tends to increase in winter due to changes in wind speed and direction. Experts explain that during winter, heavier air causes pollutants like carbon and smoke to settle lower, making the atmosphere more polluted. This results in a layer of harmful particles covering the area, further deteriorating air quality.
Residents have been urged to wear masks as pollution worsens. Karachiโs air quality remains a serious concern, requiring immediate action to protect public health.
