JUI-F Leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed Passes Away

Former senator and senior JUI-F (Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam) leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed has passed away, his family confirmed on Wednesday.

He passed away at his home in Quetta after fighting a kidney-related illness. Hafiz Hussain Ahmedโ€™s family has also stated that he will be buried in his ancestral hometown, with funeral details to be announced later.

JUI-F expressed deep sorrow over his death, calling it a major loss for the party. Despite previously distancing himself due to internal disagreements, he rejoined the party in December 2022 after reconciling with Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
