As PSL 10 approaches, teams are preparing for the action, and Peshawar Zalmi is ensuring their fans experience the excitement. The 2017 champions have officially unveiled their anthem and jersey, setting the stage for an electrifying season.

A Regional Anthem to Fire Up the Fans

In true Zalmi fashion, the franchise has once again embraced its Pashtun roots, dropping a regional anthem featuring the legendary Raheem Shah.

The song was filmed at the newly built Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar, a symbolic gesture of the franchise’s long-standing dream to play PSL matches in their home city.

Javed Afridi, Zalmi’s owner, reinforced this vision:

“Like every year, the regional anthem is a gift to the Zalmi fans, and God willing, it will be in action at the Peshawar Zalmi home ground next season.”

While PSL matches haven’t yet been played in Peshawar, the anthem is a powerful nod to Zalmi’s loyal fanbase, keeping the hope alive for future home games.

Squad Update

On the squad front, Zalmi recently made a key signing, bringing in South African all-rounder George Linde as a full replacement for Corbin Bosch. Bosch is reportedly considering a move to Mumbai Indians in the IPL, making way for Linde to step in.

The experienced all-rounder could be a game-changer, adding depth to both batting and bowling for Zalmi this season.
