The Pakistani auto environment has seen its major new greener player make a significant debut: Hyundai Nishat Motor has officially begun sales of the much-awaited 4th generation 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. The launch sees Hyundai make the big leap into Pakistan, complementing its Elantra Hybrid with its second hybrid model while directly challenging models like the Kia Sportage Hybrid and Haval’s plug-ins.
Visually striking, the fourth-generation Tucson showcases Hyundai’s bold “Parametric Dynamics” design, highlighted by a distinctive front grille integrated with “Parametric Jewel Hidden Signature DRLs.” These are sleek daytime running lights that seamlessly blend into the grille when off and illuminate with brilliance when activated. Its sculpted body lines, LED rear combination lamp, and optional 18-inch (FWD) or 19-inch (AWD) alloy wheel setup provide its aerodynamic, sports-like posture.

Beneath the bonnet lies the heart of its attraction: a Smartstream 1.6L Turbocharged GDI Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) engine complemented by a powerful electric motor. Together, they provide an impressive total system output of approximately 232 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque, through a 6-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain offers a combination of spirited performance and a substantial increase in fuel efficiency, which is an important concern for Pakistani buyers. A 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery powers the hybrid setup.

Two Amazing Models
Hyundai Nishat is launching Tucson Hybrid in two forms: ‘Smart’ (FWD) and ‘Signature’ (AWD). Both models are generously loaded with features such as a panoramic sunroof, dual 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment displays (wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support), dual-zone climate control, and leather upholstery.
Key Features
The Signature AWD trim elevates the Tucson’s luxury and tech offerings with premium features like heated and ventilated front seats, memory seating, a Head-Up Display (HUD), and terrain modes for Snow, Mud, and Sand. It also introduces fingerprint recognition and the comprehensive Hyundai SmartSense suite, which includes over 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Smart Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist.
Introductory ex-factory prices put the Smart FWD at PKR 10,999,000 and Signature AWD at PKR 11,999,000. Bookings have opened, and buyers are getting a strong deal of innovative design, sophisticated hybrid technology, and strong safety, marking a resounding move to more sustainable vehicle choices in Pakistan.
