A Pakistani student set an unbelievable Graduate Record Examination (GRE) record.
Saad Amer graduated from Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS) in 2018. He majored in Economics and is now working at the British Council. In the four years Saad spent at LUMS, he was known as the Best Sportsman’. And even during O/A level, he scored distinction.
The GRE Record
The 25-year-old improved his record by 45 points in GRE and scored 339 out of 340. Although outstanding, it might not be an international but a national registry. With this result, Saad plans to apply to Ivy League universities and wishes to achieve a significant scholarship.
Saad wants to help others who are applying for tests such as the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Test of English as Foreign Language (TOFEL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), and of course obviously GRE among other standardized exams.
He said:
“I would like to advise all future aspirants not to focus too much on solving questions but to change the approach towards solving the questions. Through this approach or concept, one does not get trapped by these standardized tests that I have managed to crack.”
The LUMS graduate recently launched his own YouTube channel with the name, ‘GRE341/340 with Saad Amer’. He also mentioned that he is accessible to other aspirants for specific queries through his Instagram page, with the handle @GRE341withsaad or through his Facebook page ‘GRE341/340 with Saad Amer.
Many have come forward to congratulate him, including a UN ambassador of Pakistan, Maleeha Lodhi.
