Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has reached Islamabad on Thursday for his inaugural official trip to Pakistan at the request of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Crown Prince was welcomed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari amid the rainy weather.

During his visit, the crown prince will participate in extensive discussions with the Pakistani leadership to share perspectives on issues of mutual concern, strengthen historical ties and enhance economic and investment collaboration. Numerous agreements and Memoranda of Understanding will be executed during the visit to strengthen the existing strong framework for ongoing collaboration across various sectors.
On Wednesday, Pakistan and Uzbekistan signed multiple agreements on Wednesday aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in defence, technology, technical training, and youth empowerment.
