Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday during his 3-day tour to the United States has promised Pakistan to ‘fix’ the cricket team.
While addressing a HUGE number of his followers in Washington, Khan told his supporters that “After the World Cup, I have decided that I will fix the Pakistan Cricket Team.”
I went to England where I learned to play cricket. When we returned from there we raised the standard of other players.
The team you see in the next world cup, remember my words that team will be a professional team. We will fix the system and bring one in which the best talent comes forward. -Imran Khan

Rewinding back to the tournament, Pakistan had an awful start with a massive loss against West Indies, a match that cost them the World Cup, followed by their loss against India. However, the boys made a comeback and secured the 5th position.
Pakistanis were heart-broken and criticized the team for their performance before they bounced back. Many fans took over social media and bashed the team for their videos and images of eating and enjoying one night before their crucial match against India.
The Feilding and laid-back attitude in the field was also highly criticized. Not to forget rumors of PCB to let go, coach Mickey Arthur, Cheif selector Inzamam-ul-Haq were also heard, even Sarfaraz’s captaincy was under reconsideration.
We have yet to see what Imran Khan is planning to do to improve the standards of cricket in Pakistan.
