In a surprising and somewhat amusing turn of events, Pakistan Test cricketer Ahmed Shehzad got bowled out thrice in a single over by a local cricketer in Chitral. A video of the encounter has gone viral, showcasing the unexpected skills of Chitral local Ibrahim Khan.
The Unexpected Challenge
The video begins with Shehzad confidently facing off against Ibrahim. Shehzad boasted that he would hit three sixes in the over, while Ibrahim confidently challenged that he could bowl out the national cricketer twice. What followed, however, was quite the opposite of what Shehzad had anticipated.
Rather than being intimidated by Shehzad’s claims, Ibrahim took the challenge head-on. His confidence and skill were evident as he bowled with precision. Shehzad struggled to connect with the ball, managing to do so only once.
In a remarkable display, Ibrahim bowled Shehzad out not once, not twice, but three times in the same over. Each time the ball hit the stumps, Ibrahim celebrated ecstatically, much to the delight of onlookers.

Shehzad’s Aspirations for a Comeback
Ahmed Shehzad, who has often expressed his desire to return to the national team, faced an unexpected setback in this local match. Last year, Shehzad voiced his confidence in his abilities and fitness, stating that he was ready for a comeback.
“I always believed in working hard, and I am doing that. I have belief in my hard work and soon I will once again play for Pakistan,” Shehzad said.
“If you talk about my fitness, I have been working on this for a long time. I am absolutely ready to play. I feel ready enough to make a Pakistan team comeback even tomorrow,” he added.
Ahmed Shehzad has represented Pakistan in 13 Tests, 81 ODIs, and 59 T20Is. His last appearance in an international match was during the home T20I series against Sri Lanka in 2019.
