Recently, Ali Safina appeared on a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt, where he candidly discussed his early struggles. Safina talked about being rejected by radio stations for lacking the ‘it’ voice, but he wasn’t the one to give up and after that, he found his first radio job.

Safina remembers his first job of working at night as a period of great struggle. He had to travel 20 kilometers to get to the radio station which was quite a task as he did not have a car in those times. Furthermore, he had recently shifted to Karachi and thus had no contacts or networks that he could seek help from due to which he had to struggle more.
The Accidental Success Acting
Ali Safina reflected on his career and said that he is an actor, which he never thought he would be. According to him, his entry into the world of acting was not intentional. However, with his immense talent and sincere hard work, he received much success. He added that his performances went well, and for some, he even received award nominations which proved his dedication and skill.

Tussle On-Set with Hira Tareen
In the podcast, Ali also discussed a quite sensitive topic about on-set conflict that arose with his wife, Hira Tareen. He talked about a particular incident when a director rebuked him regarding the expression he was showing for the character of a serious personality. Ali Safina said that the director was of the view that his acting and the seriousness of the character would not go this way. Upset from his remark, at this Safina received a call from Hira, and it started an argument between the two over the phone.
Safina, amidst all the tension, informed in his interview that Hira played a very essential role throughout his success. After the fight was over, he went back onto the set and gave a perfect take on his character. He tells about Hira that he is the one who molded him, due to which he is enjoying his success status today. Then he told his fans that Hira is still his ultimate partner, supporting him through every walk of his life.
