The news of Sonali Bendre suffering from Metastatic cancer left her fans in a deep state of shock.

However, the Bollywood beauty has been remained brave throughout and is fighting the deadly disease like a superwoman. Undergoing an excruciating treatment of chemotherapy, the actress had to cut her hair short.

And we were left in awe at how she did it all with a smile on her face!

Each day comes with its own challenges and victories and so for now, I’m taking this #OneDayAtATime. The only thing I’m trying to be consistent about is maintaining a positive outlook… literally #SwitchOnTheSunshine – it’s my way of dealing with this. According to the latest health update by her husband Goldie Behl, the actress has kickstarted her treatment and is out of complications.

Taking to Twitter, he shared the good news with Sonali’s admirers. 

Thank you all for the love and support for Sonali… she is stable and is following her treatment without any complications. This is a long journey but we have begun positively.

Reacting to the positive note was the singing sensation, Ali Zafar who lauded the couple for their sheer strength! 

You guys are exceptional human beings. She will fight and be back very soon! Much love.
