However, with plans to introduce the Apple TV+ movie and TV subscription service by November 2019 in more than 150 countries, the iphone maker, Apple Inc. is set to give competition to Netflix!
In its initial stage, the company plans to introduce a selected collection of shows and then expand its catalog. You can also, most likely, expect a free trial period.
Strategy wise, Apple is considering to offer the first 3 episodes of some shows, followed by weekly installments, instead of releasing complete seasons that viewers tend to binge watch.
Apple’s initial list of shows will include but is not limited to the following:
- “The Morning Show,” starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell
- Steven Spielberg’s “Amazing Stories,”
- “See” with Jason Momoa,
- “Truth Be Told” with Octavia Spencer,
- A documentary series about extravagant houses called “Home”
Thankfully, the service will be part of Apple’s TV app and will also be accessible from third-party products, like Roku and Amazon Fire TV boxes, and Samsung televisions.
Apple lovers, are you excited for the launch of Apple TV Plus? Do you think the service will further strengthen the Apple community?
