Asad Siddiqui, the brilliant actor who starred in Sinf-e-Aahan, is not secretive about his love for his family, especially his wife, Zara Noor Abbas. Parenting Philosophy: Guiding, Not Controlling
In an interview with Ushna Shah on her talk show, Asad was asked what kind of father he wanted to be. He revealed that while he will set boundaries for his daughter, he does not want to be a strict parent. ”I can’t be a strict dad,” he said, explaining that he wants his daughter to feel free and not suffocated by rules.

He emphasised the importance of teaching Noor-e-Jehan values, kindness, and respect. According to Asad, parenting should focus on guidance, not force. He added that if parents are too strict, their children may rebel, so it’s essential to allow them the freedom to make their own choices within limits.
A Pampered Child: Asad’s Own Experience
Ushna asks Asad how was his childhood, he reveals he was more of a doted child than a rebellious one. He further shares that Zara Noor Abbas has a fabulous bond with their daughter and mostly Noor-e-Jahan sticks to her mom.
