What’s in Babar’s Kit Bag?
Babar Azam revealed that he doesn’t travel light, carrying seven to eight kit bags with his cricket kit. “I usually carry 7 to 8 kit bags on my tours,” the 29-year-old shared. From thigh pads to multiple pairs of gloves, Babar leaves nothing to chance when it comes to being prepared.
One of the first things he pulled out was his trusty thigh pad, which, believe it or not, he only recently upgraded after using the same one for over a year and a half. “These pads and the helmet from Gray-Nicolls are really good,” he said.
Now, gloves are a whole other story. Babar knows how essential they are, especially in different weather conditions. “In this weather, you need to carry 7 to 8 pairs of gloves,” he explained. No surprises there—after all, when you’re constantly smashing boundaries, those gloves are bound to wear out pretty quickly.
He also keeps three pairs of batting spikes handy. “One for practice, one that I’m wearing, and another in my bag,” he said. Along with that, he packs catching gloves, an elbow guard, and all the other basics to ensure he’s ready for any situation on the field.

It’s Not Just About the Gear
But of course, it’s not just about what’s in the bag. Babar’s consistency is what really makes him a standout player. He’s currently the second-highest run-scorer in the Champions One-Day Cup, amassing 230 runs in just four innings.
In his latest match against the Dolphins, Babar was in full form, smashing 104 runs off 100 balls. Seven boundaries, three massive sixes—he showed once again why he’s one of the best in the game.
