The Backstreet Boys have released a new single called “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” along with a video that finds them singing and dancing as they do best.
The boy band, which recently marked its 25th anniversary, revealed via Twitter earlier this week that a new single was on the way with the humorous post “Excuse the dad joke but… we’re back,” in reference to their well-known single “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”

Bandmate Kevin Richardson said of the track in a statement, “The minute we heard this song we knew it was special. I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON.”
The electro-pop track is accompanied by a video by long-time Backstreet Boys collaborators Rich + Tone.
The Backstreet Boys released their last studio album, “World Like This,” in 2013. While there is no word about whether “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is destined for a forthcoming album, the band did previously reveal that they’re at work on a tenth LP.
