Microsoft co-founder and billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has confirmed his relationship with Paula Hurd. In a recent interview, he called her his “serious girlfriend“ and shared that they are enjoying their time together.
“I’m lucky to have a serious girlfriend named Paula,” Gates said. “We’re having fun, going to the Olympics and doing lots of great things.”
Moving Forward after Divorce
Gates, 69, has kept his personal life private since his 2021 divorce from Melinda French Gates. However, he admitted that despite the challenges, he does not regret their time together.
“The divorce wasn’t great,” he said. “But having three kids and doing the work we did together—I would still do it all again.”
Who is Paula Hurd?
Paula Hurd, a businesswoman and philanthropist, was married to Mark Hurd- Oracle’s CEO until he sadly passed away in 2019. Their relationship grabbed attention in 2022 following Gates’ divorce in 2021.

Despite their separation, Gates and Melinda remain committed to their children and grandchildren. They continue to co-parent and attend family events together.
“Melinda and I still see each other,” he said. “We have three kids and two grandchildren, so there are always family gatherings. The kids have good values, and they’re doing well.”

Gates also shared his thoughts on turning 70 this year as well as Microsoft reaching its 50th anniversary. He credited his parents for shaping his success.
“I was lucky to have amazing parents,” he said. “They let me explore, go hiking and try new things.”
