Kaptaan’s empowering words traveled far and wide, with his worldwide fans and haters reacting to his vision of a ‘Naya Pakistan’.
However, it was his message to India that is being avidly discussed on social media. Despite the media of the neighboring nation portraying Imran Khan as a ‘devil in disguise’, the politician urged India to unite with Pakistan for the greater good.
‘On India: I was saddened in the last few days, how the media in India portrayed me as a Bollywood film villain. It seemed like India feared everything bad would happen if Imran Khan came into power’
‘I think it will be very good for all of us if we have good relations with India. We need to have trade ties, and the more we will trade, both countries will benefit’
Khan’s idea impressed Bollywood bigwigs who took to Twitter and congratulated the PTI leader on his incredible success.
