At the end of November, Bushra Ansari appeared on the Excuse Me podcast hosted by Ahmed Ali Butt. During the conversation, he highlighted her decades-long career in the media industry and her huge fan following. He asked if a time ever came when Ansari felt like she should step away from the limelight.

In response, Ansari said that during the print magazine era, public appearances were always in demand, especially around Eid festivals. She, however, made it clear that she has never been a person who sought controversies and has always avoided publicizing her personal life. According to Ansari, basic manners and privacy are important.

Standing Against Negative Remarks

Things changed a bit when the discussion reached modern-day YouTubers, who often spark controversy due to exposing personal moments. However, Ansari preferred to address a pressing issue: people speaking “rubbish” about others.

In this respect, she targeted Firdous Jamal, an old and experienced actor who had earlier disparaged other actors. Ansari condemned the action by Jamal, stating that she feels hurt; as a senior actor, he should be inspiring and treating his peers with respect and not make nasty remarks about them.

She further mentioned that this is not appropriate for a man who has played lead roles and had a prosperous career. In fact, he should help the newcomers. Bushra Ansari, always advocating for other performers while supporting junior actors and maintaining healthy relationships in the industry, reiterated her stand.
