When responding to one user who asked her about a particular scene where the actressโs character was rude to the lead co-star, Ansari said, “Listen, all of you have to handle such mother-in-law characters because you all like to see these kinds of characters only!โ This question was aggressively answered, and that too conically, the entire audience burst into laughter.
On-Screen Slap Scenes
Bushraโs characters might be a bit tough on screen, the actress said that she has a problem with certain shots, especially slap scenes. For example, she said, introductions to the scenes that involved extra emotion and, particularly, scenes, which required slapping someone, were rather challenging for her.

This is especially the case when I often request different takes because I canโt physically assault anyone. Iโm not that cruel. She told the hearing that such scenes are extremely demanding; the sound that accompanies the slap scenes and the angle in which they are shot gives the impression that the actress is genuinely being slapped by her partner. โIโm not perfect at it. The sound can make it real without me needing to really whack anyone,โ she also had to offer a behind-the-scenes view on how such scenes are staged and filmed.
Bushra and Saba they both have been very close friends and used to spend much time together. In the discussion, Ansari also talked about friendship; she revealed that she has been friends with Saba Hamid for a long time. As for Saba she said, laughing, โSaba can slap anyone in the scene, you know!โ This (here referring to a light-hearted comment said by one of the actresses regarding the other) elicited laughter from the crowd and revealed the friendship between the two female leads.
