As our auto sector had limited skill-set jobs, we thought of creating a program which would open prospects for men and women who have, engineering degrees, and automobile industry experience and are passionate about cars. During our first season, we came across an automotive engineer whose desire to succeed, willingness to learn, and passion for cars had a profound impact on us. The program equipped him with a unique set of skills which helped him land his dream job. This candidate’s success propelled us further in building a better and stronger program with a new array of subjects and practical expertise and knowledge. We look forward to welcoming individuals to the second season of our Apprenticeship program”
Commenting on the program, Nazish Mushtaq, CarFirst’s Apprentice said “For engineers interested in the automotive industry, and don’t know how to kick start their career – CarFirst Apprenticeship Program is the answer. During my apprenticeship at CarFirst, I learned all mechanical and electrical aspects of cars, received theoretical knowledge and practical training, and was taught about the quality and types of paints used by different car manufacturers in Pakistan. The program made me understand market trends, factors affecting the pricing of used cars, and the inspection process using state of the art electronic instruments. I also learned how to meet my targets under pressure and how to better coordinate with different departments across Pakistan to achieve common organizational goals and also got the chance to work with highly professional teams. At the end of the program, I got an offer to work at CarFirst, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the team.”
